Short Film: SYMMETRY

Symmetry is a short film created by Yann Pineill as his graduation project at the Paris art school, ESAG Penninghen..  As its title suggests, the film's two halves are mirror images, but the second half of the film is more than just a reversed version of the first half.  The effect is impressive, and one can only imagine that it must have required considerable planning to pull off.
"This film has been written symmetrically: the second half is strictly like the first, but played backwards and mirrored. The second part doesn't act like a simple rewinding, but as the following of the first. It explores all sorts of symmetry: compositions, shapes, sounds and music, scenario, colors, actions, time..."
