Video: Logan Speed Painting
"When I found out that this is the last time I’ll be seeing Hugh Jackman as the wolverine, I decided to do a small tribute to him. He has endured the character Wolverine for almost a decade and no one can ever replace him. For me he is and will always be the Wolverine."

Video: Star Wars Speed Drawing
Marcello Barenghi is an amazing artist who works in a combination of mediums, including pen, pencil, marker, and airbrushing. He achieves some
impressive depth, through the use of reflection, and dynamic lighting.
He recently posted a series that shows him drawing photo-realistic version of the most popular Star Wars
characters. He captured the drawing process for each image using
time-lapse, so we can see the images come together in just minutes.
Obviously, the actual drawings took much, much longer.

Okay, some people are born with talent, and others... make them look like they weren't. Youtube's Heather Rooney is one of those rare artists so skilled that you have to see her draw a piece to believe it isn't a Photoshoped photograph.

"I love Nathan, I love Whedon, I love Painting ... It had to happen, a Malcolm Reynolds painting. In this kind messy pop art style, Nathan is painted in acrylic and household paint, on a canvas 30 x 20 inches and was pretty fast maybe two sittings to complete.
This video is a bit different, I try to explain more what my plan is and how i felt at the end, hope it helps in some way to explain what and how i do what i do .... let me knwo your thoughts on the new format."

Acrylic, Spray, Emulsion, Ink on Board. 8" x 5"
Prints available for purchase from Splintered Studios.
I watched Pete's Dragon about a thousand times when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure the irreverent dragon would have gotten along with the Mother of Dragons like a city on fire. Stephen Quick imagines the meeting in his most recent work, which you can see being painting in the video below.

Video: Haunted House Speedpainting
Nothing says Halloween like a haunted house. In this video, Kim Herbst creates an eerie house at the end of a long, dark path quicker than you might think, then completes the scene with a trick-or-treater.

"Terminator" by Klaus Wittmann
Terminator fan art, speed-painted in one hour
News: On Sunday Rooster Teeth animator Monty Oum passed away at 33, ten days after suffering a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure. In lieu of flowers or gifts, Rooster Teeth asks that mourners “simply do something creative. Use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can.” An online memorial has been set up for people to share memories; according to People, fans wishing to pay their respects can also help Oum’s wife and family with medical expenses.

Please do yourself a favor and read this incredibly well-written and thrilling article, written by a woman who willfully sat in a TGI fridays for 14 hours, and ordered far too many mozzerella sticks, in order to see whether or not “endless appetizers” were truly endless. I am not kidding you when i say that it is the best thing I’ve read in a long time.

Video: Breaking Bad Time Lapse
"I LOVE Breaking Bad and had to do something for the finale. For this I was inspired a lot by the way Drew Struzan lays out his characters. I really wanted to keep to a simple look which was difficult for me since I like to go in and detail a lot of the time, especially for faces!!
But yes, all in all. I had a lot of fun painting this homage to Breaking Bad. Hope y'all dig it"
