Awesome dress, but there are just soooo many Night Vale jokes waiting to happen here ... must restrain myself for the sake of courtesy ...

Fashion: OTW Custom Painted Shoes

Custom Painted Shoes by London-based artist Julian of Off The Wall Customs

Julian of Off The Wall Customs has been creating hand drawn custom shoes for over three years.  Each pair of pop culture-inspired sneakers features a completely unique design centered around a different pop-culture fandom, whether its from a movie, comic, cartoon, video game, or anime.

A pair of these would be a great gift, but it would be heart-breaking to look down and realize that you'd just stepped in a puddle while wearing a pair of these.

Wearing Adventure Time-themed boots seems like a sure-fire way to embark on awesome adventures yourself. Dr. Martens has created an entire line of Adventure Time Boots. The latest addition to their mathematical selection is the Dr. Martens Marceline boot, straight from the Nightosphere. Each pair features two different facial expressions of our favorite vampire queen on the toes, a black faux fur tongue, and two red eyelets at the top of each boot to represent the bite marks on her neck.

Fashion: Game of Thrones Collection

If you love Game of Thrones and you love the World Cup, these soccer uniforms will quickly become your favorites. Fashion designer and artist Nerea Palacios created a uniform design for each of the major Houses of Westeros from the HBO series. Using Nike kits and the heraldry of the Houses from HBO's marketing campaign, Palacios combines the sport that so many people love with the TV series that so many people love into one great design collection.
"The original Nike kits are from nikeinc.com.  The logos GOT logos are from the HBO campaign. I just design the concepts combine both."

Illustration: Art Deco Fashion

Geeky fashion designs are all the rage, and even though there seems to be no shortage of new pop culture inspired fashion lines coming out few of them truly seem to understand the geek market.

This particular series of Fashion Designs Inspired By Pop Culture was illustrated by Sara Richard. Each piece features a genderbent pop culture icon decked out in high fashion, drawn in an art deco style, including accessories and signature wardrobe.

Doc Brown and Marty have never looked more ready for a time traveler's ball, but I'm not sure Abe Sapien would be okay with showing so much skin!

Crafts: LoTR Shoes

These custom painted Lord of the Rings canvas shoes featuring the Shire and Mordor on top and the inscription on the One Ring along the sides. They were painted with a very fine brush, notes the artist. ...meanwhile, I'm pretty sure that if I could paint like this, I'd be doing Church ceiling, not little girls' shoes. But to each their own!

Crafts: Wampa Sweater

Redditor imnojezus’ coworker made this sweater using a felting process. Instead of knitting the whole thing from scratch, she used an existing sweater and added Luke, a lightsaber, the Wampa, and, of course some lovingly rendered Tauntaun parts.  I'm not sure how heavy it is, though.  I mean it's no Tauntaun.  I would be afraid that I'd only be Luke warm wearing it.

Still, I'm pretty sure that if these were actually available for sale, they'd be doing a swift business.

Jewelry: Cosplay Girls Necklace

Star Wars Cosplay Girls Acrylic Charm Necklace by Robin E. Kaplan
Necklace and ear rings available for purchase from Etsy. US$25

Etsy seller Robin E. Kaplan, aka The Gorgonist, initially designed these super cute Star Wars cosplay girls as prints, and they were insanely popular.  So popular that the spaceship dresses even inspired real life interpretations – like this awesome Ms. Death Star dress.  Earlier this year, she started selling the art as acrylic pendants, but I thought that this would be a good time to remind all of you who have special geek girls in your lives.
