Fan Art Round-Up: Daryl Dixon
Created by Brilcrist
Walking Dead Fan Art Gallery featuring Daryl Dixon
This week's fan art round-up is devoted to The Walking Dead's Daryl Dixon. It's no surprise that he has become the show’s breakout character. As the strong, silent badass, he's all action and no hand-wringing.

Fresh Take: The Walking Doo
Two of my all-time favorite fandoms, together at last! Personally, I think having a dog at your side just makes sense in the zombie apocalypse, though the stoner would probably be a liability.

Mash-Up: The Walking Disney
A Disney / Walking Dead mash-up
I would personally love to see an animated Disney zombie film where classic
characters are thrust into a post-apocalyptic world. The closest Disney has ever come to zombies is The Black Cauldron, which happens to be my favorite Disney film.

Paintings: Zombiscapes
"Landscape (Day of the Dead, Street)" by George Pfau
George Pfau paints scenes from classic zombie films (and television series) in a style that draws heavily upon the impressionist and pointillist movements for inspiration. The results is gorey art that's classy enough to be hanging in your dentist's office. Try to identify the movie each painting portrays before you read the caption.
"The oil paint allows each figure to bleed into and intertwine with its surroundings. Each painting is accompanied by a high-resolution photograph in which these figures are magnified, emphasizing the blurry boundary that encircles each body. For me, the grotesque, oozing, blending qualities of oil paint are an apt medium for zombies and human bodies that are in-between, or out of control. The zombie film depicted is indicated in the title of each piece."

Video: Walking Dead Haunted House
Ellen DeGeneres loves scaring people, whether it's her celebrity guests or her staff. She has a tradition of sending her writer Amy through a haunted house every October for all of America to laugh at, but this year she doubled the fun by sending her executive-producer Andy as well. The two cowered in fear at the Walking Dead Maze at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, and now the subsequent video is going viral.
