3D Print: Baneling

3D Printed Baneling From StarCraft by Zeeland, Netherlands-based Andy de Bruin

This 3D printed Baneling created by Andy de Bruin was inspired by the classic video game Star Craft.  It glows in the dark, and it was assembled from 3D printed components and Alabastine spray filler.
"This is my 3D printed model of a StarCraft 2 'Baneling'. I made a Zbrush sculpt some time ago (check here) and I recently got myself a 3D printer for very cheap. So, I just had to print this bad boy (or girl?)! Made it's bulbuous acidic pockets of Glow in the Dark PLA material for the extra effect! This model radiates a room!"

Fan Film: The Rush

Directed by Matthew Arnold and Freddie Wong

"The Rush" is an intense StarCraft fan film from Freddie Wong that's a whole lot darker than you might expect. It's a great film with awesome production values that fans of the game are sure to love.

The title of the short was inspired by the term "Zerg Rush," which denotes a strategy in which a player creates as many units as possible as quickly as possible in order to attack before their opponent can fully mobilize his own forces.  This film highlights the effectiveness of the strategy.

The film stars Ellary Porterfield and Nico David, and it was co-directed by Wong and Matthew Arnold.

Posters: StarCraft

"We are the blades of Aiur" is a quote from Zealots of Starcraft II. If interested, you can find the 360 degree view on Youtube and a rough tutorial of how this is made here. The design belongs to Blizzard, I've just modeled it in 3D.
