Posters: Google Events

"Google x Collabo Arts" by Seattle-based graphic designer Junichi Tsuneoka

If Google's services were events, these might be the posters they used to promote those events.  They look like something out of a Target ad campaign.
"I was hired by Collabo Arts, the artist representetive agency to design a series of posters to be used for Google events. These posters were designed in many different sizes for different locations and applications. Each poster represents Google's particular product/service and I came up with a certain look to tie different products together. The challenge was to come up with the common visual style theme since each product is very different in the nature of the service. Art direction by William Rowan at Collabo Arts."

Tech: Build With Chrome

If Minecraft isn’t enough to satisfy your building-structures-from-blocks cravings then here’s good news—Google and LEGO have teamed to let you build LEGO structures onto Google Maps with Build With Chrome. The only catch is you can only build in Australia and New Zealand because the project is commemorating 50 years of LEGO in Australia.

First, you get allocated a plot of land. Then, you choose from a variety of LEGO bricks and extras. But if you’re thinking of building a giant phallus in the Outback, think again—all the buildings have to be vetted before being published for the public to see. But once they are approved, they’ll be open for the public to explore.

Humor: Google Search

Thanks Google.  I'll never be able to give mouth-to-mouth again.
