"The Last Man" is a short sci-fi film in which a soldier wakes up from hibernation to discover he's missed the war. It just finished a round of festival showings, and was uploaded to YouTube last week. It reminds me very strongly of Duncan Jones' Moon, where Rothery cut his teeth as production designer and visual effects supervisor. Though it may be short, the production design is tremendous. The war-ravaged city looked as if it had been torn from a much higher budget film.
"A soldier is awoken from stasis to find the world completely destroyed. Venturing into the wasteland he is faced with the devastating loneliness of being the last man alive."
