"Young Americans" Directed by Kevin Lacy
"Young Americans" is a good old-fashioned bank heist movie. Eschewing the slick choreography and high-tech gadgets of Hollywood's tentpoles, though, Lacy's heist is a more intimate affair in which a teenage girl in a small town masterminds a con.
Rather than focusing on the actual heist, though, "Young Americans is actually a coming of age tale about the lengths to which a young girl will go for love and the hard lessons that result.
