While traveling with his parents to Houston, 6-year-old Owen Lake left his stuffed tiger Hobbes at Tampa
International Airport. After his mother called the airport, the T.I.A.
staff not only found the stuffed toy, they also took it upon themselves
to photograph it posed all around the airport on adventures during their
lunch hours. The staff created a book to give Owen when he passed back
through on his way home. The local newspaper reports that, when the
little boy was presented with the toy and book at lost
and found, his mother broke down crying.
This is such a fantastic story, and as a Calvin and Hobbes fan, I can hardly think of a better toy to send on such a big adventure.
