"Versatile" by Margaux Lahuppe
This short animated film takes a dark situation and ends it with a lighthearted twist that I wholehearted approve of. What's more, the whole piece is animated in a sort of Animal Crossing animation style that lent the entire piece a cute atmosphere that prevents its subject matter from being too depressing. Versatile begins with a girl heartbroken over a break up choosing to end her life on railroad tracks.
