"Skyborn" is a dystopian film set in a future world in which the sun is permanently obscured by dense fog. It tells the story of a father and his son, who has never seen the sun for himself. The father, Gideon, dreams of flying above the polluted world to begin life anew, but his son, Blue, doubts his father's stories and wants him to abandon his foolish dreams. So, Blue hatches a plan to keep his father on the ground forever...
