"Clone Photos" by David Eger
In photographer David Eger’s “Cloned Photos” project, he has recreated historical photographs, movie posters, and imagery using Clone Troopers and other Star Wars figures. This project is a “spin-off” of Eger’s also awesome 365 Days of Clones series.
"The photo project began on January 1, 2011 and was completed on December 31, 2011. As the title suggests, a new photo was taken, edited and added to the running total each day. Some photos related to historical events and photos, some related to what “day” it is and some feature the Troopers just fooling around.
365 Days of Clones were created, taken and edited on the same date as the original photograph or on the birthday of the photographer or artist who created the image. There were; however, many images that I missed, didn’t have the time to create or hadn’t thought about that I have now begun to go back and create in my new series."
