"Last of You" by Israel-based Dan Sachar
"Last of You" is a science fiction film about memory, loss, and love that feels very much like a Philip K. Dick novel. While a series of megastorms devastates the world, everyone struggles to
survive — everyone but Yonatan, the inventor of a device that allows
him to relive recorded memories. While others look for safety and
shelter, Yonatan is thinking of his next fix — the next time he can
experience memories of his wife.
This is a beautifully shot, beautifully written film, and I would love to see it adapted into a feature length movie.

"In a devastated world, Yonatan, the developer of a device which allows the re-experience of recorded memories, becomes obsessive about the last recollections of his late wife. When it's time to move to a safer place and leave the memories behind, Yonatan holds on to the remnants of the past and refuses to face the harsh reality."
Thank you for your kind words.
