"Arrival" by Michael Matzur
This one minute short film hints at a larger story of a young woman who views the arrival of other worldly visitors with fresh eyes at the end of a traumatic night. It's a very simple piece, but it's the start of a very solid story concept.

I filmed this short alien apocalypse idea for almost nothing with a couple of friends awhile back, and then spent a lot of time learning 3D tracking/animation to create the VFXs. Additionally, I tried to express a rich backstory and have a full arc take place in the confines of a minute with no spoken dialogue."
