A round-up of fan-made Dawn of the Planet of the Apes posters commemorating the release the next entry in one of the best B-movie sagas of all time.
This is the eighth film in the series, which began in 1968 with the iconic Planet of the Apes. The special effects for the modern films have improved greatly since Charlton Heston’s day, and a third film directed by Matt Reeves was confirmed on January 7, 2014 with a release date on July 29, 2016.
The latest movie in the franchise stars Gary Oldman as Dreyfuss, Judy Greer as Cornelia, Keri Russell as Ellie, and Andy Serkis as Caesar.
It’s been a decade since the human race was devastated by a deadly virus, and a new generation of Apes has been born. With Caesar as their leader, the nation of Apes has banded together against a group of humans who survived the viral epidemic. Although the Apes and humans have reached a delicate peace, it doesn’t last long. The two species must duke it out to determine which will become the dominant race of the planet Earth.
