"E.M.M.A." directed by Stephen Herman from TheBrokenBoxYouTubeChannel
"E.M.M.A." is a short film from debut director Stephen Herman, a junior at Baruch College. "E.M.M.A." tells the story of two scientists attempting to endow a robots with human so that it can be used for human companionship. The testing goes smoothly until an argument erupts between the scientists. While the story may cover well-trod territory, the ending features a well-executed twist reminiscent of the old Twilight Zone series that makes it worth the fourteen minute investment.
The short was selected for two film festivals this year: the 10th Annual Big Apple Film Festival in New York City and the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles.
