Helm's Deep (The Battle of the Hornburg) recreated by Rich-K & Big J
Rich-K & Big J recreated the Battle of Helm’s Deep from Lord of the Rings from 150,000-piece LEGO bricks and about 1,700 mini-figs. According to their MOC page, it's only about 90% completed. I wish there were W.I.P. shots, because I'm dying to know how something like this gets started.
