Video Round-Up: February 17, 2015

"Wednesday has the definitive solution to street harassment. // Season 2! New episode every Wednesday."

Welcome to The Geek Art Gallery's daily Video Round-Up, in which we collect the geekiest videos from around the web each day for your enjoyment. Why slog through page after page of kitten and baby videos to find what you're looking for on video aggregators when you can cut straight to the chase here? Comedy sketches, countdowns, movie parodies, nerdy music, science in action, and supercuts - we've got it all!

“Social Justice RPG” is an animated parody by Dorkly that pokes fun at the “traditional class roles” in the Final Fantasy video game series.
"Don't forget to check your Privilege stats."

"Harry and Lloyd are back in the comedy sequel we thought we wanted, but didn't really : Dumb and Dumber To"

"For your consideration, the 2015 Oscar Best Picture Nominee Mashup."

This jaw dropping gigantic 360° projection mapping show was recently presented at the “Carré des Arts” in Mons, Belgium, Europe’s new “Capital of Culture.”
"We proposed our vision of the theme of Mons 2015 : Where technology meets culture! A futurist vision of a robotic world illustrated by CLOE our central processing unit system. “Year : 10191. A technological war breaks out. Descent into the depths of a dead planet. Discover the queen of the new world, Cloe…”

"Is Time Travel really Possible? In this clip Professor Brian Cox - a confirmed Doctor Who fan - undertakes an experiment with a light showing that time moves faster for a stationary clock than a moving clock, which appears to move more slowly over the same length of time. His conclusion is that time travel is possible, but only into the future!"

Everything But the News host Steve Goldboom attends Dev Bootcamp, a 19-week program that teaches folks to code, and struggles with everything from naming variables to understanding why people even bother learning to code in a recent episode of the series. Goldbloom, who apparently studied German in college, finds few fans of journalism among his fellow students.
"Steve Goldbloom spends the day at Dev BootCamp, a short-term intensive "developer bootcamp" designed to turn mere mortals into fully-fledged programmers."

"Rémi Gaillard is world famous for his dangerously funny videos.

Unafraid of controversy, he has challenged the norms and expectations of online video with his creativity!

From bringing Pacman and Mario Kart to life and playing pranks in animal costumes, to taking on the likes of Ronaldo in a battle of football skills, Rémi has done it all and shows no signs of stopping any time soon - his motto is, after all, "C'est en faisant n'importe quoi qu'on devient n'importe qui"!

One things for sure - once you watch Rémi's videos, you'll never look at an elevator in the same way..."

Host Michael Aranda gives a charged explanation of plasma, the fourth and most common state of matter, in a recent episode of SciShow. Though common in the Universe, plasma is also the least commonly understood of the four states of matter humans experience every day.
"Get to know plasma, the most common, but probably least understood, phase of matter in the universe!"
