Mumbai-based graphic designer Kapil Bhagat plays with the
names of some of the world's most famous scientists, honoring their
pioneering efforts for India's National Science Day with this line of minimalist posters. Each of these lighthearted typographical creations playfully hints at the nature of its scientist's breakthrough.
For example, Bhagat uses the "o" from "Isaac Newton" to allude to the famous story that an apple
falling from a tree inspired Newton to develop his theory of
gravitation. He then substitutes mc2 for the E in Albert Einstein's name. I'd love to see more of these in the future.
