"The Fly" is a light, fast-paced comedy that still manages to be dark. It's a story about a guy who has just one job to do. As is so often the case with short films, things get out of hand. What sets this film apart if that so much of the film's comedy relies on the physical performance of the film's star. The whole thing recalls the best films of the silent film era.
