"THE LANDING - Short Film" directed by Josh Tanner of Perception Pictures
"The Landing" is a character-driven drama about the relationship between a father and son wrapped in a science fiction plot cloaked in the period piece about the rampant paranoia of the sixties. The whole thing feels like Super 8 without any of the trappings of a big budget film. It's a complex film that "feels" much bigger than it actually is, which is refreshing at a time when paying for a movie ticket leaves most movie-goers feeling mugged.
"A man returns to the Midwestern farm of his childhood on a desperate mission to unearth the horrifying truth of what landed there in the summer of 1960."
