"The Droidvengers came to be from a challenge by the 501st Legion (Star Wars costuming community for charity) wanting to see our favorite droids as the Avengers. A patch, benefiting A Force for Change, featured R2-D2 and R2-KT. The Droidvengers are R2 as The Cap, R1-G4 as Hulk, R2-KT as Black Widow, C3PO as Iron Man, The Treadwell Droid is Hawkeye, and R5-D Thor. This derivative illustration is a parody piece created as a fan art of all of the franchises."
