"Tempbot" directed by Neill Blomkamp (2006)
This short film directed by Neill Blomkamp and written by Mark Fitzloff is a documentary-style look at the Tempbot, a robotic office assistant. The film utilizes Neill Blomkamp's signature style is of mixing lo-fi production with seamless CGI. It also begins developing the literary theme of portraying bureaucracy as a literal machine, which Blomkamp explores further in Elysium.
