Before the Monty Python boys created their landmark show that changed comedy forever, a young Terry Gilliam trademark showcased his cut-out animation on a show called "Do Not Adjust Your Set." Traditional animation is as good as set in stone long before it's captured on film, but cut-out animation leaves an animator room to improvise as he's clicking away. These little impromptu tweaks lent themselves to a trademark style that Gilliam has become so well known for.
