"The Final Moments of Karl Brant" directed by M.Francis Wilson
Aside from the fact that it features that guy who used to play Pee-Wee Herman, The Final Moments of Karl Brant is a fantastic bit of sci-fi you're sure to love if you've ever counted yourself a Philip K. Dick fan. Visually inspired by Fritz Lang’s Metropolis, one of the directors favourite science-fiction films, the dark, industrial aesthetics of The Final Moments of Karl Brant make the short feel like a cross between Blade Runner and Se7en. The story is something along the lines of The Final Cut.
"Set in the near future where experimental technology allows two detectives to bring a murder victim back to life in a digital state in order to question him about his final moments. "
