LEGO minifig versions of characters are a weakness of mine. Sometimes
I'm tempted to buy a whole LEGO set just because of the minifigs
included. I've barely dived into the world of customized figures, and I
can tell it's going to be dangerous. Just look at this Daenerys
Targaryen figure!
Etsy seller miniBIGS
has created a whole "Throne of Bricks" set featuring minifig versions of the best characters
from Game of Thrones. The first series includes five figures: Tyrion Lannister, Ned Stark, Jon
Snow, Arya Stark, and Daenerys Targaryen.
They
sort of loose something in translation. They aren't nearly as
menacing in block form, but the details are spot on. Each figure even
comes with a prop. There's a wine goblet for Tyrion and Needle for
Arya.
The
first issue sold out, but they're taking pre-orders for the
second printing later this month. Put your order in quickly, though!
miniBIGS only manufactures these minifigs eighty sets at a time.
