"The Innovation of Loneliness" by Shimi Cohen
This animated film addresses the issue of how social networks isolate us, increasing our
loneliness, rather than making us more social. We are
obsessed with the self promoting and we have a lot of friends that only
create vague connections, superfluous chats with too many people instead
deep connections. This work is based on the book Alone Together: Why We Expect More from Technology and Less from Each Other by Sherry Turkle.
