Bioshock Infinite’s floating city of Columbia is a stunning game setting that captivates the eye and excites the imagination, so it was inevitable that some enterprising Minecraft artist re-created the moralist anti-utopia in blocks, like Ocarina of Time and Assassin's Creed before it. The artist goes by the handle Tiresh on Planet Minecraft. The project page includes a video walkthrough of the map, and you can check out the full photo gallery
on Imgur.
According to a Gamebreaker.tv interview, Tiresh didn't get her hands on blueprints of the game before it was released:
"I based everything on materials I found on the internet, pictures, vids, concept arts and such. I’m an editor on Bioshock Wikia, so I had some stuff earlier than other people, but not much to be honest…Now when the game is out, I’m just making screens of every meter of the city, and try to rebuild it in the best way I can. Still lots of work to do."
