The French branch of Graffiti Research Lab has modified the humble spray can (or in fact seven of them) to "write" full sentences.
The Near Tag Quality project took two months to complete and cost around €200 (£172). As detailed on CreativeApplications.net, the DIY graffiti printer uses Arduino, Solenoid valves and spray cans along with "a number of transistors to get enough voltage from the low signal issued by the Arduino board."
The exhibition "This place has no atmosphere" at the Irish Museum of Contemporary Art in Dublin saw the first demonstration of the project.
