Sketches: MARCH of ROBOTS

Here we go! March of Robots by @chocolatesoop Is here!!! Are You ready to show some awesome robo-stuff?!?! Lets rock this Match real hard! #marchofrobots #marchofrobots2015


Every March, artists across the web participate in the month-long art challenge called MARCH of ROBOTS!  The goal of the challenge is to draw a new robot every day for the entire month of March. The event was conceived by an artist calling himself Dacosta, who hosts the event's official website and manages the resulting KickStarter campaigns to publish some of the resulting artwork.

To participate, you need only follow The 3 Laws of Robotics:
1 Drawings can be digital or analogue, but it must be drawn by you and it has to be a robot or depict scene featuring a robot.
2 Hashtag your drawings with #marchofrobots and post it to Instagram and any other social spot you like. Twitter, tumblr, etc.
3 Have fun with it!

Part of a super old sketch! I used to do a ton of mech design and had drafted a crazy amount of things like this. It’s hard to believe that was at least a year ago! Honestly I got so caught up with drafting and mech design I forgot about other important things such as oh…you know….gesture. Yeah. Good job me. The last year has been far more exploratory and getting loosened up…but it might be time to get back to knocking out some sketches like this!
