Shane Mason will open the first comic shop in Wollongong, Australia, next month, giving residents an alternative to buying online or driving to Sydney to get their fix. Mason said he was inspired by seeing 3,000 fans turn out for the Comic Gong convention last year, and he has enough money to start the store, but he is raising money on IndieGoGo to allow him to expand the inventory.
