"Hello World :)" is a cyberpunk feast for the eyes. This beautiful techno-thriller breaths new life into the old genre tropes with high-end production values and a level of world-building rare in Hollywood features, much less indie shorts. In it, a quick-witted hacker must break into a virtual world to steal her father's memories.
The film was shot for approximately roughly €12,000 using school equipment over the course of eleven days throughout Paris and its suburbs. The OS interface was designed by courtesy of Thomas Colin and Benoit Laurent using the popular After Effects plugin Plexus.
