Poster: Westeros Transit Map

"Westeros Transit Map" by Michael Tyznik on INPRNT

Prints available for purchase from inPRNT. US$30 -$80

This isn't the first transit map of Westeros from Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire that I've seen, but it's definitely the best designed.  The map featrues curved routes lines out of King’s Landing and the use of colour coding to define route groups, but Tyznik has embellished the map with commentary on the events of the books and TV series, like "Please pardon our dust as Harrenhal is restored" and marking the stations on the Wall Line as being closed.  The final result is a beautiful map that would look great on a wall without nerding up a room too much.

Tyznik says he was inspired to create the maps of Westeros and The Known World from Cameron Booth's Tumblr of transit maps, and has included all sorts of small touches like noting certain stations that are "not in service" to coincide with plot points from the books. Both are being sold as prints, and can be seen at higher resolution (albeit with giant watermarks) on Tyznik's Flickr.
