"Agrieborz" by Belgium-based Nick Ervinck
Nick Ervinck is a sculptor known for working with 3D printers to create organic forms. His smaller pieces, like this one, resemble nerve clusters. His larger pieces look a bit like molten cheese run amuck. Very cool, but abstract. Nick used imagery of human organs that he found in medical manuals as
construction materials to create an organic form that’s "gone wild."
“I have always been fascinated by the way art has developed due to the use of new materials and techniques. 3D printing offers me the incredible advantage to produce almost any type of intricate geometry or ornament.”
