As the year comes to a close, we are reminded that were some memorable highs (The Last of Us) and lows (Aliens: Colonial Marines). There's no doubt that 2013 is going to be remembered as a turning point in the history of video games. The year was marked by controversy, drama, console wars, a new GTA, and (if the hype is to be believe, the very real prospect of virtual reality soon becoming commonplace.
Malcolm Klock has created a fitting tribute to the video games of the year 2013. Yes, there are a few omissions, such as DOTA 2 and Dragon's Crown, but this is tight, well-produced retrospective.
