"Codename: Simon" directed by Graham Tallman
This simple but profound short film is the story of a little boy named Simon, who describes himself as "an undercover space agent whose new mission finds him on Earth awaiting pick-up by his parents' spaceship." But the truth of what is really going on could be too much for Simon to handle. As might be expect, the whole story is an extended metaphor for a more serious issue. Even expecting the twist, though, the piece remains a touching reflection about denial, grief, and isolation.
