Installation: Blue Moon on a Platter

Composed of 100,000 Recycled CDs.
On exhibit at Waddesdon Manor through January 1, 2013.

Blue Moon on a Platter was created by pinning thousands of CDs to the undulating banks of the amphitheater, which measures 28 meters across. In the center sits a "Moon" composed of 150 spheres of coiled optic fiber. The Moon glows with blue light which refracts and glitters across the sea of CDs.

Composed of approximately fifty thousand upcycled CDs in a precise circle across the the front of the house, Angel of Light spreads its wings, letting you walk right through it.
