"Side Effected" by Lev Pakman
Side Effected is an extremely simple film from a cinematic standpoint, but it's effective in its blackly humorous portrayal of corporate corruption. According to the filmmaker, the film's austerity meant that it could be shot in a single day for under fifteen hundred dollars.
"An urgent meeting between the boss of a pharmaceutical company and one of his upstart young employees is called in order to discuss a troubling rumor about a new drug."
