Event: 8th Annual Cardboard Classic

Massive Star Wars AT-AT Walker Sled Races in the 8th Annual Cardboard Classic

This Imperial sled was built by Doug Brewbaker, Garret Geiger, and James Groves.  It took 70 hours to build the seven-foot, eight-inch tall AT-AT Walker sled from cardboard, paper, glue, and tape.  They and 50 others raced at the 8th Annual Cardboard Classic in Lansing, Michigan on January 25th, 2014.  According to reports, the AT-AT did not survive the course.

This Imperial sled was built by Drew Brewbaker, Garret Geiger and James Groves for the Lansing, Michigan 8th Annual Cardboard Classic. Competitors construct sleds out of nothing but cardboard, paint, glue, tape and paper and pray that it survives the snowy route. Unfortunately the AT-AT did not survive the trek. Check out this video to see a little bit of its journey.
