Gary wanted to ask his lady to marry him, but instead of doing it over a fancy dinner or at the beach, he hired a pair of Portal level designers to make a custom game map to get the job dome. Now that's thinking with Portals! He even got Ellen McLain to reprise her role as the voice of GLaDOS.
