The Original Caped Crusader Aled Lewis: I always thought Batman’s title as ‘The World’s Greatest Detective’ was a little presumptuous. Aside from being his intellectual superior, Sherlock Holmes has been dishing out his own brand of street justice with accomplished hand-to-hand combat since the late 19th century. Plus - both are carrying tremendous amount of emotional baggage.
