"Refuge" is a cyberpunk short film set year in the year 2020.  A cyberwar is brewing between the U.S. and Iran.  A young Iranian refuge named Sonia is facing deportation.  A new research project offers her an opportunity to stay, but at great personal cost.  It's a thought-provoking morality tale about the consequences of mixing corporate interests with politics.
