"Hors Cadre" is an animated comedy. Set in a mansion in rural Scotland, the short
features a beautiful, highly stylized environment design. It also very effectively employs rapid cuts used to intensify the chase sequences. A lively soundtrack infuses the piece with a lively sense of action. Highlights of the short include an internal
conflict centered around a family history punched up with humor that stems from the film's supernatural
elements.
