The creators of the popular Cyanide & Happiness web comic have turned down television deals, opting to raise money on Kickstarter for a DRM-free online show.
Li Hongbo's flexible paper sculptures are incredible. Li Hongbo makes the sculptures by manually gluing sheet upon sheet of paper together to make 3D objects which bend and flex in mindbending ways. Portfolio and bio, and more pictures and videos of the sculptures in action.

Zach Weiner, creator of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (SMBC) web comic, drew six hours of free cartoons on Reddit to promote his new book. Here’s the original post, it drew thousands of comments on the popular site: “I have a new book coming out, and so… for the next 6 hours, I’ll draw whatever you want … I did this a while back and was doing full color art. This time I’m gonna do quicker sketches so I can try to get to more people’s requests.” So far, the comic creator has raised more than $231,000 on Kickstarter for a new book of comics called SCIENCE: Ruining Everything Since 1543. You can explore all the drawings on Reddit. My favorite was the request for "A superhero whose super power is that he makes people perceive him as having super powers he doesn't have."
