Dalek Gary” is an upcoming web series and Doctor Who parody by Kill9TV that features a Dalek named Gary who has been disarmed and stranded on Earth with no way home. Each episode will show how Gary faces such challenges as getting a job, making friends, dating, and just finding his place within the human world until rescue comes.

The first song from Death Note, a musical written by Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn (Bonnie & Clyde, Jekyll & Hyde)  and inspired by the popular anime, has made it online. I guess it’s not as weird as an Attack on Titan musical would be, right? (

Yesterday morning, viewers of the FXX network were treated to an unheralded TV pilot for a show based on Robert Jordan's epic fantasy series The Wheel of Time. Adapting only the first six pages of the 13,000 page series, it appeared just two days before film and TV rights were due to revert to Jordan's estate. Jordan's wife and editor has stated that the pilot was filmed without the knowledge of anyone involved with the estate, which casts doubt on producer Red Eagle Entertainment's plan to continue the series.  The internet is abuzz today with complaints of the pilot's poor quality. Poor acting, boring interiors that evoke no sense of place and are poorly lit, costumes are either poor or just inexplicably...
