"The Senator’s Daughter" by Daniel Danger
Daniel Danger continues to be one of my favorite artists, and this poster, which was created for SXSW 2010, exemplifies all the reasons why. It manages to be both dark and hopeful at the same time, while the tiny bit of extraneous information about the subject matter provided by the title fills the piece with intrigue. Danger's art is the adult version of Chris Van Allsburg's The Mysteries of Harris Burdick, and they make for amazing writing prompts.
