Short Film: High Tide

"High Tide" by Kristin Kemper

High Tide is a heart-warming piece of animation.  In it, a young girl on a school trip to the ocean finds discovers merboy (merlad?).  Like most fairytales, though, there's is a twist to the tail!

High Tide was created by the very talented Kristin Kemper as part of her studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

"I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get tired of working on my thesis film halfway through the year, so I made sure to throw in all of my favorite things. This is the result: my ode to merpeople, schoolchildren with magical secrets, the color aqua, and of course, hermit crabs. I hope you like it too!!!"
