Crash Course Astronomy is a fun and informative new series from Crash Course hosted by astronomer Phil Plait. The series breaks down complicated astronomy concepts in an easy to understand way using animation and narration by Plait. The first episode serves as a general introduction to the study of astronomy, and the second episode deals with making astronomical observations with the naked eye.
"Welcome to the first episode of Crash Course Astronomy. Your host for this intergalactic adventure is the Bad Astronomer himself, Phil Plait. We begin with answering a question: "What is astronomy?""

"Today on Crash Course Astronomy, Phil invites you to head outside and take a look at all the incredible things you can see with your naked eye."

Time travel has always intrigued humanity. Many science fiction and non-fiction books cover the topic, and there are countless famous movies about the concept. But with time travel always comes a paradox. Jake of Vsauce covers three mind-bending time travel paradoxes in this trending video in which Internet celebrity Bill Nye The Science Guy guest stars.
""By His Bootstraps" short story from 1941 that deals with the problems of paradoxes"

It’s a common science fiction question. What would happen if human beings suddenly disappeared off the face of the Earth? In just a matter of weeks the world would become chaos, explains AsapScience, as now free domesticated animals battle wild ones, power plants shut down, bridges and skyscrapers rust, and entire cities catch fire and burn. Hollywood needs to make this into a movie…
"If we suddenly disappeared, what would happen to our planet?"

"The Walking Dead’s mid-season premiere is coming up soon, and to celebrate, we’re taking look back. All the way back to the comics that inspired the show. We’ll look at the first volumes of Robert Kirkman’s comic, side-by-side with the first season of the AMC show, and tell you: “What’s the Difference”?

A lot changed in adapting the Image Comics ongoing graphic novel series for the small screen. From major character changes (Hi, Merle and Daryl!) to plot tweaks, we’ll go through every difference between Season One of The Walking Dead, and the comics that inspired them - get ready to get informed!"

College Humor reveals the Photoshop trickery that was used on Justin Bieber's Calvin Klein ad by showing the editing process in reverse.
"Photoshop continues to set unrealistic standards, even among celebrities."

Gavin Free of the Slow Mo Guys utilizes a high-speed Phantom Flex camera to capture the inner workings of a Canon 7D DSLR camera at 10,000 frames per second to show off just how quickly its shutter moves to take a shot.
"Gav shows you how insanely quick the inside of a DSLR camera moves when it takes a picture, by filming it at 10,000 fps."

"in this video we are showing how we made the episode 7 stormtrooper helmet out of metal.there has only been 2 pictures released of the helmet so it was very difficult to build."

"A cover of the Ken's stage from Street Fighter 2. I thought it will be a good choice of music for a floppy cover"

I have a nostalgic soft spot for the animated X-Men series from the '90s. It was my first real exposure to the characters and Marvel comics at large. The Warp Zone team have taken the theme song and have done a fully a capella cover. The video of the guys as they are recoding is funny and they are each sporting a t-shit/costume for Wolverine, Rogue, Cyclops, Magneto, and Gambit.

Yeah, this rendition of the Seatbelts’ “Tank!” (better known as the theme song for Cowboy Bebop) is pretty great, when you consider it’s being played by eight floppy drives. But I think this just proves that there’s really no comparing the jazz musicianship of robots to humans, and our future overlords will know it. If you want to survive the robot apocalypse, learn to play jazz trombone, stat.
"One more anime cover before the month's over! It's one of my favorites for sure, but I have to admit the ending was a real let down for me personally. Either way, doesn't detract from the fantastic music the series has."

Rock star cellists Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser connect with rock star pianist Lang Lang for an epic cover of Paul McCartney & Wings’ awesome James Bond theme, conjuring images of flaming skulls in the deepest recesses of our minds.
"2CELLOS Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser perform Live And Let Die by Paul McCartney together with the pianist Lang Lang"
