Gaming Round-Up: February 24, 2014

This piece was done for one of my classes where we had to mash-up two different styles. I chose to mash-up Bioshock and Steamboat Willie.  I did a lot of research into different postures that characters had, along with researching what characters could be combined. Super fun project and I’m very proud of the finished product =D

The first issue of the new EVE Online comic book from Dark Horse comics is now available for free download (free registration required). What's particularly interesting about the "EVE: True Stories" comic series is that the stories are retellings of actual player-driven game events. The first story to be adapted is the downfall of the Band of Brothers alliance

Much digital ink was spilled this past week over Capcom’s upcoming dungeon crawler Deep Down. After initial reports that the playable character roster would exclude female characters due to “the narrative,” producer Kazunori Sugirua clarified that the game had only one (male) playable character.
