Short Film: The Bloody Cuts

Bloody Cuts is a series of 3-10 minute no-budget horror films forming an anthology of 13 which will be released online at www.bloodycuts.co.uk, over a number of months running until their terrifying cycle is complete.

The first of 13 'Bloody Cuts' makes its entry wound with the release of 'Lock Up' - the debut from an anthology of chilling shorts spilt from the vein of horror fanaticism.

When you're leaving late from work, like you've done many times before; spare a thought for the complacency of your safety and stay out of the dark - evil lives there. Lock Up is a chilling tale of fear and suspense and a potent reminder that something of nightmares could be lurking in the shadows around any corner.

Roll up; roll up the circus of horrors is in town to showcase the new spectacle of terrors that is "Stitches"; the latest gruesome instalment of the Bloody Cuts anthology, based on a classic urban legend.

"Think twice when you next accept the offer to baby sit a friend or family member's little horror for the night. You might just get a few more screams over the expected protestations of bed time, a very permanent bed time..."

P.S. Don't forget to watch until after the end credits!

'Prey' is a dark tale of late-night liasons, nocturnal predators and terrifying revenge...

"Mother Died" is a chilling tale of fear, family and a young woman's survival.

The 5th film in the Bloody Cuts Horror anthology is a dark, gothic bed-time story directed by Ben Tillett and Jake Cuddihy, winners of the 2011 SCI-FI-LONDON 48 hour Film Challenge for their short 'The Intention of Miles'.

***NOTE: "Suckablood" is a dark film set at night, so is best viewed with minimal lighting, and of course with speakers/headphones for the full experience***

Based on true events, that took place in 1984, in Norfolk, England... When 3 campers visit a private lakeside hideaway for some summer fun, little do they know the horror that awaits them...

"Dead Man's Lake", an homage to the classic slasher flicks of the '80s, is the sixth episode in the Bloody Cuts anthology, as well as being the directorial debut of series producer/creator Ben Franklin.
